History of Hindi Dictionary PDF

In the modern sense, the history of Khadi Boli, which we call Hindi today, is not very old. Therefore, it is natural that the first serious attempt to create a dictionary in this language was also made by the Nagari Pracharini Sabha, Banaras in the late nineteenth century, and then later, institutions like Gyan Mandal Banaras and Hindi Sahitya Sammelan Prayag, and institutions like Father Kamil Bulke, Hardev Bahri and Dr. Raghubir. Individual efforts made good dictionaries in the first half of the 20th century. If we look closely at these dictionaries, two important trends are visible. Let us first look at the influence of Brajbhasha and Sanskrit on early dictionaries.
