SBI Unclaimed Deposits List PDF: Dormant accounts, fixed deposits, savings accounts, and other financial assets where the account holders haven’t accessed their money in a while are all considered SBI Unclaimed Deposits. People can search and retrieve their legitimate monies thanks to the SBI Unclaimed Deposits List 2023, which acts as a public record of such unclaimed deposits. SBI is making an attempt to reconnect consumers with their misplaced or ignored assets.
As of February 2023, Public Sector Banks (PSBs) transferred to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) a total of Rs. 35,012 crore in unclaimed deposits. This sum represents deposits that have been inactive for at least ten years. This information was given in a written response to a question in the Lok Sabha on April 3 by Dr. Bhagwad Karad, Union Minister of State in the Ministry of Finance. The disclosure emphasizes the sizeable amount of unclaimed money held by PSBs and stresses how crucial it is to return these cash to their rightful owners by following the necessary processes and raising awareness of the issue.
